The role currently open is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone looking to build a rewarding career in the food and entertainment industry. Kitchen Prep and Pizza Makers play a vital role in delivering the fun by preparing customer orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment. The work primarily involves easy prep tasks focused on pizzas, salads, and wings, ensuring high quality and safety standards with no frying involved. This makes the role accessible and manageable for those new to the workforce or those seeking a dynamic work environment.
Employees enjoy competitive hourly wages ranging from $16.90 to $17.90, with additional commission opportunities based on membership and fun pass sales, varying by employment status. Furthermore, Chuck E. Cheese offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing employees access to their earned wages without waiting for the regular paycheck cycle. This program reflects the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce financially.
Working at Chuck E. Cheese means joining a team passionate about customer service and hospitality. Candidates can expect a lively working environment with responsibilities including handling food preparation, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds, and interacting positively with guests and teammates. The work environment features flashing and flickering lights, mechanical parts, and lively noise levels typical of a family entertainment center, requiring employees to be energetic and enthusiastic problem-solvers.
CEC Entertainment is proud of its extensive benefits package which supports employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, assistance programs, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may benefit from medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options, while full-time employees have access to comprehensive healthcare coverage including paid sick and vacation time, holidays where applicable, flexible spending accounts, and legal coverage. The company complies fully with all state and local labor laws including paid sick leave provisions.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer, striving to build a workforce that reflects the diverse communities it serves. The company does not discriminate based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to ensure they can perform essential job functions effectively. By working at Chuck E.
