Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, which bring joy and lasting memories to families across the globe. Chuck E. Cheese is known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," offering a safe and fun environment for children and families through its games, food, and celebrations. The brand celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and has a strong commitment to community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America's Greatest Workplaces for its innovation and dedication to employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by providing a neighborhood pizzeria experience with quality food and entertainment, aiming to create fun, engaging environments that strengthen family bonds and community ties. Together, these brands operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun.
CEC Entertainment is currently hiring for positions such as Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers, which are frontline roles essential to maintaining the company’s commitment to excellent food and family fun. These roles involve preparing orders and assisting with food prep in a no-fry kitchen, focusing on items like pizza, salads, and wings. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a long-term career with the company, as over 60% of managers were promoted from within.
The company offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 and commission potential depending on sales performance. Furthermore, Chuck E. Cheese provides an innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages before payday, enhancing financial flexibility. The workplace environment is dynamic and engaging, although it requires the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and moving actively throughout the shift. Additionally, employees should be able to thrive in a sometimes noisy and visually stimulating setting with lights and moving parts.
CEC Entertainment places strong emphasis on employee development and well-being, offering a broad benefits package that includes telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, financial relief resources, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Part-time employees may qualify for medical coverage and voluntary benefits, while full-time employees enjoy comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, legal coverage, and education support.
The company values diversity and treats all employees with respect, complying with equal opportunity laws and accommodating individuals with disabilities. Paid sick leave and other state- or local mandated benefits are provided as applicable. CEC Entertainment is not only a place to work but a place to grow, aiming to develop talents and careers in an environment filled with fun, food, and family.
