Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC ("CEC"), headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a prominent leader in the family dining and entertainment industry across the United States and internationally. With a legacy built on joy, fun, and family moments, CEC operates the iconic brands Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million children's birthdays every year, positioning itself as a unique venue where children can enjoy food, games, and memories in a safe and inclusive environment. The company is dedicated to creating a positive experience for families, emphasizing safety with initiatives such as Kid Check and contributing to the community by donating more than $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. Additionally, CEC has been recognized for workplace excellence, having received the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025, underscoring its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.

Peter Piper Pizza, another flagship brand under CEC, offers a neighborhood-style pizzeria experience infused with entertainment for all ages. Their motto, "The Fun is Baked In," highlights the integration of engaging activities alongside quality food to foster community connection and family bonding. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment exemplifies a corporate culture that embraces diversity and champions fun and play as core values.

The role currently open is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers within Chuck E. Cheese's no-fry kitchen concept. This position plays a vital role in preparing orders and supporting kitchen operations by making pizzas, salads, and wings. It is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers as well as those looking to build a rewarding hospitality career. Employees, known as Cast Members, receive extensive cross-training on different tasks to enhance service quality while retaining a dynamic work environment. Over 60% of the management staff at CEC has been internally promoted, demonstrating substantial career growth potential.

The compensation for this role ranges from $16.90 to $17.90 per hour. Additional commission opportunities are available based on membership and Fun Pass sales, payable bi-weekly. Benefits include access to the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access earned wages ahead of regular paydays, promoting financial flexibility. Working in this role involves essential physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and requires standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and walking during scheduled shifts. The environment includes exposure to flashing and flickering lights, loud noises, and moving mechanical parts, demanding a resilient and adaptable individual.

CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to accommodate diverse employee needs. This package includes telemedicine access, a robust 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, tuition assistance, scholarships, and financial relief programs. Part-time employees may opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, as well as life and short-term disability plans. Full-time employees who work on average 29.5 or more hours weekly are eligible for expanded medical, dental, and vision coverage alongside paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and educational support including student loan assistance.

The company prioritizes compliance with all applicable state and local laws, including paid sick leave policies and other protections. CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal treatment of all employees and applicants without discrimination based on various protected classes such as race, gender identity, age, disability, veteran status, and more. The organization also makes reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to help them perform essential job functions.

Overall, joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a vibrant and supportive team that values hard work, fun, community, and career development. This role is ideal for friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals who are eager to engage with customers and contribute to creating joyful experiences for families while advancing their careers in the hospitality and entertainment industry.
