Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play, serving over half a million birthdays annually. Chuck E. Cheese is known as the place Where a Kid Can Be a Kid, emphasizing safety through initiatives like Kid Check and community involvement, including donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, the company received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, recognizing its leadership in innovation and employee well-being.

CEC Entertainment fosters a diverse and inclusive culture focused on bringing families and communities together through engaging entertainment and quality food. Peter Piper Pizza, for example, offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience where fun isn't an afterthought but baked into the core of the business. Both brands emphasize play and physical wellness for kids.

This role focuses on positions in Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese. These positions are essential for maintaining efficient kitchen operations and delivering an outstanding dining experience. The kitchen environment is a no-fry kitchen specializing in preparing pizzas, salads, and wings. Employees in these roles assist with food preparation and order fulfillment, contributing directly to the fun and lively atmosphere Chuck E. Cheese is known for. The work environment includes some physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and interacting with mechanical parts and occasional loud noises, making it a dynamic job suited for energetic, enthusiastic individuals.

CEC Entertainment provides competitive hourly wages ranging approximately from $16.90 to $17.90, depending on the position and experience. Additionally, employees benefit from a commission program for Membership and Fun Pass sales, providing financial incentives beyond base pay. The company’s "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows employees faster access to earned wages, reinforcing its commitment to employee well-being.

The company offers robust benefits for both part-time and full-time employees. All employees gain access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees have options for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, while full-time employees (averaging 29.5+ hours per week) are eligible for comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts or Health Savings Accounts, additional voluntary benefits, and education and student loan support. CEC Entertainment also complies with all state and local regulations including paid sick leave.

CEC Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. The company welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and does not discriminate based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other legally protected status. The role is suitable for individuals aged 16 and above, looking for an exciting entry-level position or a stepping stone to a rewarding career in the entertainment and food service industry. This job offers a unique opportunity to work in a fun environment while developing essential skills with prospects for advancement, as over 60% of Chuck E. Cheese managers were promoted from within.
