Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade brands, known for creating fun-filled environments where children and families can enjoy great food and engaging entertainment. Celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, Chuck E. Cheese is dedicated to providing joyful, lasting memories through an inviting combination of play, food, and family-friendly fun. The company emphasizes safety with programs such as Kid Check® and supports community initiatives, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofit organizations. Recognized for its innovation and commitment to employee well-being, Chuck E. Cheese earned the “Best in STEM” award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

At its core, CEC Entertainment aims to be the best place for kids and families to eat and play, fostering an inclusive culture where diversity is celebrated. The family dining and entertainment venues of CEC provide not just food but a dynamic experience that supports physical wellness and strengthens motor skills in children through various attractions. The company’s brands bring communities together, underscoring the value of fun as a vital ingredient in building lifelong memories.

Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles, ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build exciting careers in a supportive environment. The positions offer comprehensive cross-training, empowering Cast Members to deliver exceptional service in multiple roles. With over 60 percent of managers promoted from within, the company nurtures career growth from entry-level to leadership positions.

This role is part of a no-fry kitchen operation, focusing on easy prep tasks for pizza, salads, and wings. Cast Members contribute directly by preparing orders and assisting with food preparation, ensuring that guests enjoy quality food safely and efficiently. A notable employee benefit is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing access to earned wages to improve financial flexibility and reduce wait times between paychecks.

The compensation offered for these hourly positions ranges from $16.90 to $17.90, with additional commission potential based on the sale of Memberships and Fun Passes. This commission may vary depending on employment status (exempt or non-exempt) and is paid out bi-weekly, demonstrating CEC's commitment to rewarding performance and providing competitive wage incentives.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old (subject to local or state restrictions) and be available to work various shifts. An energetic, enthusiastic personality paired with excellent customer service skills is essential. Physical demands of the role include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, walking, and working in a dynamic, sometimes loud environment with mechanical parts and light effects.

CEC Entertainment also provides robust benefits to support employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and disability plans. Full-time employees working an average of 29.5 or more hours per week qualify for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. The company complies with state and local laws on paid sick leave and other required benefits.

At CEC Entertainment, inclusion and equal opportunity are core values. The company hires without discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, genetic information, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class under federal, state, or local law. Reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Employee health and safety are paramount, supported by rigorous sanitation standards and operational procedures to protect team members and guests.

By joining CEC Entertainment as a Food Prep, Cook, or Pizza Maker, individuals become part of a forward-thinking company committed to career growth, diverse and inclusive culture, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits—all within a vibrant, family-oriented work environment focused on fun, food, and play.
