Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a highly respected leader in the family dining and entertainment industry, known widely for its iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Headquartered in Irving, Texas, CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. The company prides itself on creating an environment centered around great food, family, and fun—where children can enjoy themselves safely and families can make lasting memories. With commitments to safety programs such as Kid Check® and a philanthropic history that includes donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits, CEC Entertainment not only focuses on entertainment but also on community support and inclusion.

Chuck E. Cheese is celebrated for hosting over half a million birthdays each year and offers a safe, engaging, and lively atmosphere that fosters joy and play. The company has been recognized for excellence, including the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces. These accolades reflect CEC Entertainment’s dedication to both innovation and employee well-being, creating a workplace culture that prioritizes diversity and inclusion. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by delivering a neighborhood pizzeria experience with quality food, fun entertainment, and a family-friendly environment where the fun truly is baked in.

The role currently being offered is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within Chuck E. Cheese’s kitchen team. These team members are vital in helping to prepare fresh food orders, assist with food prep tasks, and maintain a no-fry kitchen that emphasizes pizza, salads, and wings. The role is perfect for first-time job seekers as well as those looking to build a thriving career in food service and entertainment, with the possibility of internal promotions, as over 60% of management positions are filled by internal advancement.

Employees benefit from the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows team members to access earned wages promptly, enhancing financial flexibility. This hourly position offers a competitive wage range between $17.05 and $18.05, with additional commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. The environment is dynamic and fast-paced, requiring the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods. The company also maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect both employees and guests and promotes a culture of respect and cooperation among team members.

Working at CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a family-oriented, fun-first organization that binds the joy of food and play. Team members receive comprehensive training and support, multiple opportunities for career growth, and access to a robust benefits package tailored to both part-time and full-time employees. These benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance options, life and disability coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, and more.
