This role is part of CEC's dynamic workforce, offering a great opportunity for first-time job seekers and those looking to build a rewarding career in a family entertainment and dining environment. The position specifically targets Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers who help deliver the fun by preparing orders and assisting with kitchen food prep. Compensation for this role is hourly, ranging from $17.75 to $18.75, with additional commission opportunities. Commission pay varies depending on exempt or non-exempt status, with earnings from memberships and Fun Pass sales paid out bi-weekly. CEC also offers the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees faster access to their earned wages, mitigating financial stress and enhancing employee satisfaction.

The work environment involves physical activity such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, squatting, and other movements required to perform kitchen and food prep tasks. Employees are also expected to manage job stress effectively while interacting positively with guests and coworkers in a lively setting that includes flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises. CEC values diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair employment practices under federal, state, and local laws, including accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Employees receive comprehensive benefits designed to support their well-being nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and short-term disability insurance. Full-time employees working an average of 29.5 hours or more per week are eligible for a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA), life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.

CEC Entertainment encourages qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records to apply, following fair chance laws such as the California Fair Chance Act.
