Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With a widespread presence including nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has become synonymous with fun, food, and family bonding. The organization celebrates more than half a million children's birthdays annually, aiming to create joyful and lasting memories through its unique combination of dining and play experiences. Their commitment to safety is demonstrated through initiatives like the Kid Check® program, while community support is evident in the more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, showcasing its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.

This role is designed for individuals passionate about food preparation in a lively, family-friendly environment. CEC Entertainment is now hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions at Chuck E. Cheese. These roles focus on helping to feed the fun by preparing orders such as pizzas, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen, ensuring food quality and safety. The role benefits from the company’s “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program, which offers employees access to earned wages without waiting for traditional pay cycles. Compensation ranges hourly from $16.90 to $17.90, with additional commission potential for membership and fun pass sales. The kitchen environment requires team members to be physically active, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a setting with flashing lights, mechanical parts, and some noise. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build a long-term career within a supportive company that promotes growth, with over 60% of managers promoted from within.

Employees enjoy access to various benefits, including telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, and financial assistance programs. Part-time and full-time employees have access to medical, dental, and vision options, along with paid time off, flexible spending accounts, and additional education support. The company values diversity and inclusion, fostering a welcoming culture where every team member's unique perspective is respected. CEC Entertainment also abides by all relevant state and local labor laws, including paid sick leave provisions. This role not only offers an entry point into the world of family entertainment and hospitality but also a chance to be part of a well-established and continuously growing organization dedicated to fun, safety, and innovation.
