This role is an exciting opportunity within CEC Entertainment to join the team as a Food Prep, Cook, or Pizza Maker. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an engaging career in the food and entertainment industry. Employees in this role are empowered through cross-training in various positions to provide exceptional service. The kitchen environment is a no-fry kitchen, focusing on easy prep for items such as pizza, salads, and wings. Compensation ranges from $16.90 to $17.90 hourly, with additional commission potential based on membership and Fun Pass sales. The company offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access earned wages quickly rather than waiting between paychecks.
The job duties include preparing food orders, assisting with food prep, ensuring kitchen cleanliness and safety, and supporting overall kitchen operations. Employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and withstand physical demands like standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching during scheduled shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises. Customer service skills, energy, and enthusiasm are essential for success in this role.
