Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands like Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is famously known as "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." The brand emphasizes safety with initiatives like Kid Check® and demonstrates strong community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recognized for its innovation and commitment to employee well-being, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience where fun is baked right into the food, entertainment, and atmosphere. Both brands support physical wellness and motor skill development in children through play and interactive attractions.

CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun, striving to unite every family through its welcoming environment and commitment to employee growth. The company offers competitive wages ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 hourly along with commission opportunities based on Membership and Fun Pass sales. Commission varies for exempt and non-exempt employees, ranging from $0.50 to $10 for Memberships and $0.15 to $3 for Fun Passes for exempt employees, and $2 to $8 for Memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes for non-exempt employees, paid out bi-weekly unless state law dictates otherwise.

The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles at Chuck E. Cheese help feed the fun by preparing customer orders and assisting with food preparation. These positions involve working in a no-fry kitchen, focusing on easy prep items like pizza, salads, and wings. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers and anyone looking to build a career in a supportive and dynamic environment. Team members are empowered to provide exceptional service by cross-training in various positions within the restaurant. Over 60% of the company’s managers are promoted from within, underscoring the company’s investment in internal career development.

An innovative feature of employment at Chuck E. Cheese is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows team members to access earned wages swiftly without waiting for traditional pay cycles. This program highlights the company's modern and employee-centered approach. Employees in these roles must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, so adaptability and resilience are important qualities.

CEC Entertainment supports its employees with a comprehensive benefits package. All employees gain access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees are eligible for fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees who work an average of 29.5+ hours per week have access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays (where applicable), FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. The company also complies with state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and other benefits.

CEC Entertainment is committed to equal opportunity employment and non-discrimination on many fronts, including race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, and other protected categories under federal, state, and local laws. Reasonable accommodations are provided to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform their essential job functions. The company maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards and operational procedures to protect the safety and health of its guests and employees. Joining Chuck E. Cheese means becoming part of an exciting, inclusive, and career-building environment dedicated to fun, family, and food.
