Amazing career growth and development opportunities are available as over 60% of managers are promoted from within. CEC Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer, embracing diverse backgrounds and perspectives in its workforce.
The company is currently hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within its kitchens, which feature a no-fry environment focusing on easy preparation of pizza, salads, and wings. These roles are designed for individuals who want to build a career in hospitality or seek their first job experience. Cast members are empowered to provide excellent customer service through cross-training across various positions. A unique feature of this employment opportunity is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing workers to access their earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle.
The Food Prep and Pizza Maker roles are essential to feeding the fun at CEC by preparing orders and assisting with kitchen responsibilities. These roles require physical stamina as employees must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various physical activities such as standing, bending, and walking during shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, which requires a capability to handle job-related stress while maintaining positive interactions with guests and coworkers. Compensation ranges between $16.90 and $17.90 per hour with the added potential for commissions on Membership and Fun Pass sales, providing an attractive earning opportunity for motivated individuals.
CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package to support employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and support for education and student loans. CEC also complies with all applicable state and local laws, including paid sick leave where required. The company places great emphasis on safety and health, implementing rigorous sanitation standards and protective operational procedures to ensure a safe environment for its teams and guests.
Overall, a career with CEC Entertainment means joining a passionate and dynamic environment where fun, family, and food come together. Whether looking for a first-time job or an opportunity to grow a meaningful career in hospitality and entertainment, joining Chuck E.
