Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is committed to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, reflecting its dedication to providing safe and engaging environments for kids and families. The company invests heavily in safety programs such as Kid Check®, supports local communities, and has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In addition to its charitable efforts, Chuck E. Cheese has been recognized for its innovation and employee satisfaction, having received the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America's Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience with quality food and engaging entertainment that brings families and communities together. Both brands champion play, supporting physical wellness and strengthening motor skills in children through various attractions and activities. CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, emphasizing the importance of reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the communities they serve.
The role currently available is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an exciting career in the hospitality and entertainment industry. The kitchen team helps feed the fun by preparing orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment, which focuses on easy prep for pizzas, salads, and wings. The role provides employees with cross-training opportunities across various positions, empowering Cast Members to deliver exceptional service and contributing to the dynamic and engaging atmosphere for guests. Over 60% of managers at Chuck E. Cheese were promoted from within, highlighting career advancement opportunities.
Employees benefit from the company’s "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing access to earned wages without waiting for the standard bi-weekly pay period. This program helps improve financial flexibility for hourly workers. Competitive hourly wages range from $16.90 to $17.90, with additional commission potential based on sales of Memberships and Fun Passes for both exempt and non-exempt employees. The working environment includes physical activity such as lifting items up to 50 pounds and requires employees to perform tasks involving standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The workplace features flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, so the ability to manage job stress and effectively interact with guests and team members is essential.
CEC Entertainment provides numerous benefits and perks to support employees nationwide. These include access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, as well as voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours weekly become eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays (where applicable), FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. The company complies with state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and makes reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The environment is designed to meet rigorous health and sanitation standards to ensure safety for both teams and guests.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and cultural respect. It does not discriminate based on race, color, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification under federal, state, or local law.
