Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC (CEC), headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally celebrated leader in family dining and entertainment, best known for operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With a strong commitment to creating unforgettable experiences, CEC hosts over half a million birthday celebrations annually, focusing on joy, fun, food, and play. The company is dedicated to making every child’s visit memorable while prioritizing safety through programs like Kid Check®. CEC proudly supports communities by donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits and has been recognized for innovation and excellence, receiving the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
Peter Piper Pizza, a distinct brand under the CEC umbrella, offers a neighborhood pizzeria ambiance with quality food and engaging entertainment, making fun an inherent part of every visit. Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza champion growth and wellness through their unique attractions that help strengthen children's physical wellness and motor skills. CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture where diversity, inclusion, and family fun are paramount.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring for roles including Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers within their kitchens. These positions contribute directly to delivering the brand’s promise of combining great food with fun and family-friendly experiences. The Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker roles are essential for preparing orders and assisting with food preparation in a "no-fry" kitchen environment that focuses on assembling pizzas, salads, and wings. The company offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $17.90, with commission opportunities on Membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly.
At CEC, entry-level employees gain valuable experience in a supportive team environment and have opportunities for growth, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. The company empowers Cast Members through cross-training in multiple roles, enhancing skill development and career progression. Additionally, CEC’s "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program enables employees to access earned wages quickly, enhancing financial flexibility.
CEC values an energetic, customer-focused team that thrives in a fast-paced and fun work environment. Employees are expected to be capable of physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and able to perform various movements including standing, bending, reaching, and walking during their shifts. The environment may include flashing lights, mechanical sounds, and requires strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment is also committed to offering a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of its employees across the United States. Benefits include telemedicine access, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings opportunities, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and voluntary life and disability benefits, while full-time employees (averaging 29.5+ hours/week) receive access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays (where applicable), flexible spending accounts, life and disability insurance, and legal coverage.
CEC also strictly adheres to state and local labor laws by providing paid sick leave and other benefits as required. The company maintains an inclusive hiring policy that complies with the California Fair Chance Act and Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance, ensuring equitable opportunities for applicants with arrest and conviction records. Reasonable accommodations are made to support employees with disabilities.
Working at CEC Entertainment means joining a company that cares deeply about the health and safety of its employees and guests, with top-tier sanitation procedures and an inclusive culture that values diversity. The company embraces a work environment where every team member, regardless of background, feels valued and empowered to contribute to creating joyful, lasting memories for families.
This position is ideal for individuals seeking their first job or looking to build an exciting career in a dynamic, family-focused entertainment and dining company. Join CEC Entertainment and become part of a celebrated legacy where "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®" is more than a promise—it’s a way of life. Explore opportunities with an employer that values your growth, offers competitive pay and benefits, and fosters a positive, high-energy workplace.
