Peter Piper Pizza complements this experience with a neighborhood pizzeria vibe, quality food, engaging entertainment, and a focus on physical wellness and motor skills development in children. CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity, fun, and inclusion.
The current hiring opportunity is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese, a role ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career in the food and entertainment sector. This position is part of a no-fry kitchen environment, focusing on easy prep tasks for pizzas, salads, and wings, allowing employees to help feed the fun. The role offers flexible shifts and promotes an energetic, enthusiastic workplace where excellent customer service is valued. Employees will benefit from the new "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which provides access to earned wages quickly, enhancing financial flexibility. This role supports physical activity and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. The work environment may include flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, fitting with the dynamic, playful atmosphere of the brand.
CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package to support their employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time staff can enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, and vision plans, along with voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees working over 29.5 hours per week receive more extensive coverage, including medical, dental, vision, paid sick and vacation time, holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and education and student loan support. The company also complies with state and local requirements by providing paid sick leave and other mandated benefits. Safety and health are paramount at Chuck E. Cheese, with rigorous standards and operational procedures to protect employees and guests. Reasonable accommodations are available to individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
Employing a diverse workforce is integral to CEC Entertainment’s mission. The company is committed to equal opportunity employment, ensuring no discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class. The company encourages applicants who share its passion for service and fun to apply.
