In 2025, the company was recognized with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its dedication to innovation and employee well-being. The brand’s safety programs, such as Kid Check®, and its generous community support—including donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits—demonstrate an ongoing commitment to fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.
As a part of this vibrant enterprise, CEC Entertainment fosters diversity and inclusion across its workforce, ensuring that hiring practices reflect the varied backgrounds and perspectives of the families they serve. They proudly uphold equal opportunity employment principles without discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or other protected classes.
About the Role:
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions. These roles are ideal for first-time job seekers or individuals looking to build an exciting career in a dynamic and family-friendly atmosphere. Employees, referred to as Cast Members, benefit from cross-training in various positions, empowering them to deliver excellent service and opening pathways for career advancement, with over 60% of managers having been promoted from within the company.
The Food Prep and Pizza Maker roles focus on preparing orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment. This setting emphasizes easy prep for pizzas, salads, and wings, avoiding fried foods to maintain a healthier offering. Employees will work in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to lift or carry items up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities like standing, bending, kneeling, and walking during their shifts.
CEC Entertainment supports employees through the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows access to earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle. This initiative enhances financial flexibility for its employees. Compensation ranges between $15.40 and $16.40 hourly, with commission opportunities for membership and Fun Pass sales, varying by exempt or non-exempt status and paid out bi-weekly.
The company encourages a lively, energetic, and enthusiastic work culture where excellent customer service skills are paramount. Employees play a critical role in creating the memorable experiences that Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza are known for. Beyond everyday duties, the company prioritizes employee safety, health, and wellbeing with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan for eligible employees. Ongoing job training and career growth opportunities are integral to the work experience at CEC Entertainment, making it not only a fun place to work but a place to build a rewarding career.
