Cheese is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through a blend of fun, food, and play. The brand is committed to safety and community support, demonstrated by initiatives like the Kid Check program and donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. CEC Entertainment has been recognized with awards for excellence in STEM and as one of America's Greatest Workplaces, reflecting its commitment to innovation and employee well-being. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience that combines quality food with engaging entertainment, fostering connections that lead to lifelong memories. Together, these brands operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion and putting fun and play at the center of family experiences.
The role of Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is a dynamic and engaging position that plays an essential part in delivering the brand’s promise of fun and great food. Unlike traditional kitchens, this is a no-fry environment focusing on preparing pizzas, salads, and wings with simple and effective food prep techniques. This role supports a fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere where employees cross-train across various positions to deliver exceptional service. Employees in this role are integral in helping maintain food quality and timely order preparation, directly impacting guest satisfaction and the overall dining experience. The company values energetic, enthusiastic individuals who thrive in interactive environments and are committed to providing excellent customer service.
Employees benefit from the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing access to earned wages more quickly than traditional pay cycles. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career within a nationally recognized family entertainment company that values internal promotion. Over 60% of management positions at CEC Entertainment are filled by promoting from within, emphasizing growth opportunities. Working conditions include the ability to lift moderate weights (up to 50 pounds) and engage in physical activities such as standing, bending, and walking during shifts. The work environment involves exposure to flashing lights, mechanical parts, and loud noises, typical of a vibrant entertainment venue.
CEC Entertainment is committed to the well-being and development of its employees, offering a comprehensive benefits package that supports health, education, and financial security. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time team members may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage and other voluntary benefits, while full-time employees gain eligibility for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, legal support, and enhanced education benefits. The company complies with state and local laws, including paid sick leave policies, and provides reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
CEC Entertainment fosters a diverse, inclusive culture that respects and values varied backgrounds and perspectives. The company ensures equal employment opportunities without discrimination based on protected characteristics. The lively and supportive atmosphere at Chuck E. Cheese makes it an excellent workplace for individuals eager to contribute to a fun, safe, and memorable family environment while building their professional skills and career.
