Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a national leader in family dining and entertainment, best known for operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has established a robust presence in the family entertainment industry. The company is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through fun, food, and play, serving over half a million birthday celebrations annually. Their mission centers on providing a safe, inclusive, and exciting environment where kids and families can enjoy themselves, highlighted by safety programs like Kid Check® and extensive community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Also recognized for innovation and commitment to employee well-being, Chuck E. Cheese was awarded the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and named one of America's Greatest Workplaces, cementing its reputation as an industry leader.
CEC Entertainment is currently hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions to join their dynamic team. These roles are essential for supporting the company’s service goals in a fast-paced, no-fry kitchen that emphasizes pizza, salad, and wing preparation. Employees in these positions help feed the fun by preparing food orders and participating in various kitchen prep activities. This role is particularly ideal for individuals seeking a first-time job or an opportunity to build a rewarding career path within a company known for promoting from within—over 60% of managers start as team members. The company offers competitive wages ranging from $18.57 to $19.57 hourly, along with attractive commission potentials based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes, paid bi-weekly.
One of CEC Entertainment's unique benefits is their "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows employees to access earned wages immediately rather than waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle. This offering underscores CEC's focus on employee financial well-being and job satisfaction. The work environment is designed to be both energetic and safety-conscious, with clear expectations for physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, and other movements required for effective kitchen operation. Additionally, employees should be prepared to work shifts that may vary, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills and an enthusiastic personality. As a family-friendly employer, CEC also promotes diversity and inclusion, ensuring fair hiring practices and equal opportunity regardless of race, gender identity, or other protected classes.
Overall, working as a Food Prep, Cook, or Pizza Maker at CEC Entertainment promises a supportive and vibrant workplace culture, career growth opportunities, robust health and retirement benefits, and the chance to be part of a nationally recognized brand that values fun, family, and community engagement.
