Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC ("CEC") is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, providing fun, food, and play experiences that create lasting memories for families and children. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, emphasizing its dedication to being "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®" through programs like Kid Check® for safety and community outreach, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, the brand was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, recognizing its industry leadership and commitment to employee well-being.

Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering neighborhood pizzeria experiences with quality food and engaging entertainment. The brand's core philosophy is that "The Fun is Baked In," promoting physical wellness and strengthening motor skills in kids through various interactive attractions. Together with its franchisees, CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. The company fosters a culture centered around diversity, inclusion, and the joy of play to unite families everywhere.

The role of Kitchen Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese is vital to supporting this mission by helping to feed the fun. This position is a no-fry kitchen environment focused on easy prep tasks such as pizza, salads, and wings preparation. Employees at Chuck E. Cheese, known as Cast Members, are empowered through cross-training in various positions, enabling them to provide outstanding service and grow within the company. Over 60% of managers are promoted from within, highlighting ample career advancement opportunities.

Hourly compensation for this role ranges from $17.13 to $18.13. There is also potential to earn commissions for selling Memberships and Fun Passes, with varying payout amounts depending on exempt or non-exempt status. The company offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees quicker access to earned wages instead of waiting for regular pay cycles. This financial flexibility reflects Chuck E. Cheese's commitment to supporting its employees' needs.

Candidates for this role must be at least 16 years old (with exceptions per local laws) and have an energetic, enthusiastic personality with excellent customer service skills. Availability to work various shifts is required. The position demands physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts. Additional perks include tax-free savings accounts, paid holidays, vacation, employee meal discounts, sick and safe leave pay, 401(k) plans with company matching, employee assistance programs, scholarship opportunities, referral programs, and various voluntary benefits like pet insurance and commuter benefits.

The company is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities and upholding rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect the safety and health of guests and employees.
