Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. Chuck E. Cheese hosts over half a million birthday celebrations annually and is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through a unique combination of fun, food, and play. As the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®," the brand prioritizes safety through initiatives like Kid Check® and significant community giving, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, signifying its commitment to innovation, employee well-being, and leadership in the entertainment industry.

Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience, emphasizing quality food and engaging entertainment. Its mantra, "The Fun is Baked In," underscores the company’s philosophy that fun is an essential ingredient, not an addition to their services. Both brands contribute to fostering physical wellness and strengthening motor skills in children through an array of attractions that encourage active play. Across 45 states and 18 countries, nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues deliver vibrant family dining and entertainment experiences shaped by diversity, belonging, and playful engagement. CEC Entertainment and its franchise partners cultivate a culture that celebrates fun and cooperation to unite families of all backgrounds.

This role focuses on hiring Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese locations. These positions serve as vital contributors to delivering fun by preparing fresh orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment. Tasks involve easy prep of pizzas, salads, and wings, underscoring a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen space. This hourly-paid position offers an attractive hourly wage of $17.90, complemented by a commission structure that rewards sales of Memberships and Fun Passes. Both exempt and non-exempt employees have commission potentials that enhance earning opportunities, paid on a bi-weekly basis.

The role offers exciting opportunities for first-time job seekers and career builders. Cast Members receive empowerment through cross-training in multiple positions, with over 60% of managers promoted from within, showcasing the company’s investment in career advancement. Additionally, Chuck E. Cheese supports employee financial well-being with its innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing access to earned wages without the typical wait between paychecks.

Candidates should be prepared for a physically active work environment involving lifting, standing, bending, and interacting with guests and coworkers in a lively atmosphere characterized by flashing lights, moving parts, and loud noises. Chuck E. Cheese values a diverse, inclusive workforce and is an Equal Opportunity Employer, welcoming applicants regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected statuses.

Employees benefit from a robust package including telemedicine, early wage access, 401(k) retirement plans, meal discounts, educational resources, and more. Part-time and full-time employees enjoy varying tiers of medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. The company complies with state and local laws, including paid sick leave, and provides reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities. Working at Chuck E. Cheese delivers more than a job—it offers a supportive and exciting environment for growth, connection, and family-oriented fun. Join CEC Entertainment to be part of a team that builds careers around food, family, and fun while making a positive impact on communities nationwide.
