CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. For decades, the company has been a beloved destination where families come together to enjoy great food, engaging entertainment, and memorable experiences. Chuck E. Cheese alone hosts over half a million birthdays annually, dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories through its unique combination of fun, food, and play. The company is deeply committed to safety, as reflected in programs like Kid Check, and to community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, the company received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, showcasing its dedication to innovation and employee well-being.
CEC Entertainment boasts a vibrant culture of diversity and inclusion, recognizing that its workforce should mirror the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the many guests it serves. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. Its mission centers around creating an environment "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®" by focusing on safety, play, and community engagement. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience where "The Fun is Baked In," emphasizing quality food combined with family-friendly entertainment that fosters physical wellness and skill development in children.
The role of Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering excellent customer service while working in a fun, energetic atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity for first-time job seekers or for those looking to build an exciting career within a company that promotes from within — over 60% of managers at Chuck E. Cheese began as Cast Members. The kitchen is a non-fry environment, focusing on easy prep of pizzas, salads, and wings to ensure efficiency and simplicity. Cast Members are cross-trained in various positions, empowering them to provide outstanding service and grow professionally.
This position offers flexible scheduling with various shifts, catering to individuals who thrive in dynamic environments. Compensation ranges from $8.00 to $12.50 hourly, with commission potentials for membership and Fun Pass sales, adding a rewarding aspect to hard work. The company also offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that provides access to earned wages, ensuring employees do not have to wait between paychecks.
Safety and health are top priorities at Chuck E. Cheese, with rigorous health and sanitation standards designed to exceed local requirements. The work environment includes physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. Employees must handle job stress effectively and interact positively with guests and co-workers, all while working in an environment with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises.
CEC Entertainment provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan to eligible U.S. employees. The company is dedicated to employee growth, offering job training and abundant career advancement opportunities. By joining the Chuck E. Cheese team, individuals become part of an innovative and inclusive culture that values every member and supports professional development. This role not only offers competitive pay and incentives but also an engaging and supportive workplace where Cast Members are encouraged to thrive and have fun while contributing to memorable family experiences.
