CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in the family dining and entertainment industry, proudly headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company operates some of the most beloved brands in the market, including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Serving families with a unique combination of great food, engaging entertainment, and fun, CEC Entertainment has become a cornerstone for family-friendly activities across nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues scattered across 45 states and 18 countries. Known for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, Chuck E. Cheese is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories that draw families and communities together around food and play. The company is deeply committed to safety and innovation, demonstrated through its Kid Check safety program, stringent health and sanitation standards, and regular community support, including more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, affirming its commitment to both innovation and employee well-being. CEC prides itself on fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion. They believe their workforce should reflect the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the many guests they serve. As such, they are an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to non-discrimination across a wide range of protected classes, highlighting their dedication to creating an equitable and welcoming environment for all employees.
The opportunity at CEC Entertainment is designed for both first-time job seekers and individuals looking to build an exciting career in the family dining and entertainment sector. This role centers on Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions within their kitchens. The Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker roles are integral in keeping the fun alive by preparing delicious orders and assisting in food preparation. Importantly, their kitchens are no-fry environments, focusing on simple preparation methods for pizzas, salads, and wings. These positions offer flexible shifts and the chance to engage with a variety of tasks through cross-training in different positions. CEC’s team members are empowered to deliver exceptional service to guests and are supported in their growth through internal promotion opportunities – evidenced by over 60% of managers having been promoted from within. One exciting feature of employment with CEC is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which helps employees access their earned wages without waiting for traditional pay cycles, improving financial flexibility and employee satisfaction. This position requires energetic, enthusiastic individuals with excellent customer service skills who are able to handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or moving for the duration of their shifts. The work environment is dynamic and may include flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and ambient noise, typical of an entertainment-focused venue.
In addition to competitive hourly pay ranging from $11.00 to $15.13, employees also have the potential to earn commission based on membership and pass sales, enhancing overall earnings. CEC Entertainment offers a robust benefits package that supports employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees can opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and disability benefits, while full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours per week receive comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional educational and student loan support. CEC Entertainment meets all state and local compliance requirements, including paid sick leave and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive workplace for everyone.
