Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity, play, and community connection. The company dedicates itself to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually. CEC fosters safety and community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits, reflecting its commitment to enriching lives beyond just food and entertainment. The brand is also recognized for its industry leadership, receiving accolades such as the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, highlighting its innovation and commitment to employee well-being.
Now hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles, CEC Entertainment offers a unique opportunity for both first-time job seekers and those aiming to build an exciting career. Employees, called Cast Members, are empowered through cross-training in various positions, enhancing skills and opportunities for internal promotion—over 60% of managers were promoted from within. The role is centered on preparing delicious food orders in a no-fry kitchen environment, focusing on pizzas, salads, and wings, all while maintaining a fun, energetic, and family-friendly atmosphere. This position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and customer service, with a vibrant work environment featuring flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and lively sounds.
CEC Entertainment provides competitive hourly pay ranging from $11.00 to $15.13, along with commission potential tied to Membership and Fun Pass sales, varying by exempt status, with bi-weekly payouts. The company supports employees with the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing faster access to earned wages, alleviating wait times between paychecks.
The essential job functions require the ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds, and to be physically active during shifts—standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing or pulling, walking, and squatting are routine. Successful candidates bring an energetic and enthusiastic personality, excellent customer service skills, and availability for various shifts. The company also prioritizes a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect all team members and guests.
Benefits at CEC Entertainment are comprehensive and designed to support employees nationwide. All team members enjoy telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability insurance. Full-time employees working an average of 29.5 or more hours weekly are eligible for extensive medical, dental, and vision plans, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, flexible spending account (FSA) and health savings account (HSA) options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, voluntary benefits, and additional education and student loan support.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing a diverse workforce representative of the guests they serve. They do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, ancestry, genetics, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected class. The company embraces diversity, inclusion, and culture as foundational principles to creating a fun, supportive, and engaging environment for all.
