Celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, the company emphasizes safety, fun, and family through its innovative programs like Kid Check and significant community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun to unite every family.
CEC Entertainment presents an exciting career opportunity for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers. This role is perfect for individuals seeking a first-time job or those looking to build a career in a dynamic and supportive environment. The position offers hourly wages ranging from $16.90 to $17.90, with commission potential based on sales of Memberships and Fun Passes, providing an additional earning opportunity that is paid out bi-weekly. Notably, Chuck E. Cheese supports its employees with the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing staff to access earned wages without waiting for a traditional paycheck.
Kitchen Prep and Pizza Makers play a critical role in feeding the fun by preparing various food orders, focusing on easy prep items such as pizza, salads, and wings, in a no-fry kitchen environment. Employees are cross-trained across multiple positions, empowering them to deliver exceptional service and grow within the company. The role demands physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasks like standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting throughout shifts. The work environment is lively, with flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, aligning with the vibrant atmosphere of the entertainment dining experience.
As part of its commitment to employee welfare, CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored to meet the needs of both part-time and full-time employees. Benefits include telemedicine access, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time staff may opt into fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging over 29.5 hours per week are eligible for extensive medical, dental, vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. The company complies with all state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and other benefits, ensuring a supportive and inclusive workplace. CEC Entertainment embraces diversity and inclusion, providing equal employment opportunities regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or other protected classes. Reasonable accommodations are made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions, demonstrating the company's dedication to an equitable and welcoming work environment.
