Cheese is renowned for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and creating joyful, lasting memories for families through a unique blend of fun, food, and play. The brand’s commitment to safety, community support, and innovation is demonstrated through programs like Kid Check and significant charitable contributions exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Peter Piper Pizza brings a neighborhood pizzeria experience that combines quality food and engaging entertainment, emphasizing the motto “The Fun is Baked In.” Both brands are dedicated to promoting physical wellness and strengthening motor skills in children through various attractions and activities.

CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries. The company fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion while emphasizing fun and play as unifying elements for families everywhere. Known for its industry leadership, CEC was recognized in 2025 with the “Best in STEM” award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, spotlighting its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.

The role available at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers, essential contributors to delivering the iconic Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza experience. These team members help sustain the fun by preparing orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment. Responsibilities include easy prep for pizza, salads, and wings, contributing directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring high-quality food is served promptly. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a lasting career, as over 60% of managers are promoted from within CEC, highlighting strong career growth potential.

The employment is hourly, with compensation ranging from $17.79 to $18.79 per hour. Additionally, there is an attractive commission structure based on membership and Fun Pass sales: exempt employees earn between $0.50 to $10.00 per membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass, while non-exempt employees earn $2.00 to $8.00 and $0.60 to $2.40 respectively, paid bi-weekly unless otherwise mandated by state law. CEC also offers an innovative “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program to provide access to earned wages without waiting for regular paychecks.

Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess excellent customer service skills. Physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds and the ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The work environment may include flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring adaptability and resilience. CEC is committed to complying with state and local employment laws, including paid sick leave and consideration of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with fair chance laws.

CEC Entertainment supports employee growth through competitive benefits, such as telemedicine access, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Part-time and full-time employees are eligible for additional medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, among other benefits. The organization also offers resources for financial relief and education to support employees' overall well-being.

As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment embraces diversity and does not discriminate based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, veteran status, or any other protected classification.
