Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spread across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories for children and families through fun, food, and safe play environments. Chuck E. The brand's notable accolades include the 2025 "Best in STEM" award and recognition among America's Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its leadership in both workplace culture and innovative entertainment experiences. Peter Piper Pizza complements this with a neighborhood pizzeria experience focused on quality food, engaging entertainment, and fostering physical wellness and motor skills development in children.
At CEC Entertainment, the culture is rooted in diversity, inclusion, and the celebration of fun and play to unite every family. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports employees nationwide and offers extensive job training and career advancement opportunities. This particular role is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career in a dynamic, family-friendly environment. The position provides hourly compensation ranging from $17.00 to $18.00, with additional potential commissions for sales of Memberships and Fun Passes, making it both a rewarding and engaging opportunity. The "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program adds a financial flexibility feature by allowing employees access to earned wages without waiting for set paydays.
The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker role focuses on helping to feed the fun by preparing fresh orders and assisting with kitchen tasks in a no-fry environment. Responsibilities include easy prep work for pizzas, salads, and wings, with an emphasis on quality and food safety. Candidates for these positions must be energetic, customer-service oriented, and able to work various shifts. The job requires physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing/pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment is lively, featuring flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, creating a fun yet fast-paced setting.
CEC Entertainment is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. All employees benefit from access to telemedicine, early wage pay, 401(k) plans, meal discounts, educational assistance, and employee support programs. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision, and voluntary life and disability benefits, while full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours per week are eligible for comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, holiday pay, flexible spending accounts, and student loan support. Safety, health, and sanitation are prioritized through rigorous standards exceeding local requirements to protect employees and guests alike.
CEC Entertainment thrives on its commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment, prohibiting discrimination based on race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, and other protected classes. The company fosters a supportive workplace where employees are empowered through cross-training in multiple roles, evident in the fact that over 60% of their managers are promoted from within. This role represents a unique chance to join a fun, energetic, and inclusive company dedicated to allowing kids to be kids and families to enjoy a great time together.
