The company embraces a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun, creating an environment where employees can grow their careers and contribute to a unique family entertainment atmosphere. CEC Entertainment has received notable recognition including the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring their leadership in both innovation and employee well-being.
Now hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions, CEC Entertainment offers an engaging role focused on preparing food items like pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen. These roles are critical to feeding the fun by ensuring quality and timely preparation of food orders. The company empowers Cast Members through cross-training in various positions, fostering a dynamic and supportive work environment where over 60% of managers have been promoted from within. The compensation ranges from $16.90 to $17.90 per hour with commission opportunities available based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes, paid out bi-weekly.
Additionally, CEC Entertainment offers a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages without waiting for the regular payday, supporting financial flexibility. The essential job functions require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, which prospective employees should be prepared for.
CEC values employee health and safety, maintaining rigorous sanitation and operational procedures to protect team members and guests alike. The company offers a competitive benefits package that supports employees nationwide, including telemedicine access, early wage access, 401(k) retirement plans, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees have options for fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and disability insurance. Meanwhile, full-time employees averaging more than 29.5 hours per week are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts/health savings accounts, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values a diverse workforce and does not discriminate based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class. The company is committed to reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions, exemplifying its inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
