The company hosts over half a million birthday parties annually, reflecting its commitment to joy, safety, and community through innovative programs like Kid Check® and meaningful donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Chuck E. Cheese is not only a popular destination for family fun but also a place where team members can build rewarding careers. The company offers a dynamic work environment aimed at fostering growth, learning, and a positive culture. With over 60 percent of management promoted from within, CEC Entertainment provides abundant opportunities for advancement. The "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program offers employees immediate access to earned wages, enhancing financial flexibility. The company embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring that its workforce reflects the varied backgrounds and experiences of the communities it serves.
The Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker roles are crucial within CEC Entertainment's food service operations. These positions involve preparing quality food items such as pizzas, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. As part of the team, employees assist with food preparation and ensure that the food served upholds the company’s high standards for taste and safety. This role suits individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced setting and contributing to a lively atmosphere where families come together to create lasting memories. Employees in this position benefit from cross-training opportunities, allowing them to develop a wide range of skills and contribute to various aspects of the operation. Compensation includes commission potential, with specific rates based on roles and sales of memberships and Fun Passes, paid out bi-weekly unless local laws require otherwise.
In addition to an engaging job environment, CEC Entertainment offers comprehensive benefits tailored to support employees at every stage. All team members can access telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, discounted meals, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), opportunities for tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees have options for fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision insurance, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees, working an average of 29.5 hours or more weekly, qualify for extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays (where applicable), flexible spending account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA) options, life and disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and educational assistance including student loan support.
CEC Entertainment is committed to maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards, ensuring the safety of both guests and employees. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, which are critical considerations for safety procedures. Reasonable accommodations are made to support individuals with disabilities so they can effectively perform essential job functions.
CEC Entertainment’s vibrant and inclusive culture not only supports employee success but also champions fun and play as integral to family life, making it an ideal place to start or continue a career in the entertainment and family dining industry.
