Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a leading national company in family dining and entertainment. The company operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, known for creating memorable experiences through food, play, and entertainment. Chuck E. Cheese hosts over half a million birthday parties each year, positioning itself as the ultimate place where kids can enjoy food and fun in a safe, family-friendly environment. The company is committed to safety and community support, implementing innovative initiatives like Kid Check and donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was recognized with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, reflecting its dedication to innovation and employee wellbeing.
This role is focused on hiring Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers who are essential in feeding the fun by preparing food orders such as pizzas, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. Employees may work across various positions upon cross-training, which empowers them to provide outstanding service. With a competitive hourly wage ranging from $11.00 to $15.13 and commission opportunities, employees can enhance their earnings by selling memberships and Fun Passes. The company offers its employees the benefit of a "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing those who work to access earned wages without waiting for the traditional paycheck cycle. This position is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone looking to build a career in a lively, family-focused entertainment environment.
The role involves working in a dynamic environment that requires physical activity such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. Employees must be comfortable handling work stress and collaborating effectively with coworkers and guests. The work environment is lively and interactive, including exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. CEC Entertainment is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. The company emphasizes health and sanitation standards that exceed local requirements to ensure the safety of its teams and guests.
CEC Entertainment fosters a culture of diversity and inclusion, celebrating differences and promoting a welcoming workplace. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, creating a broad network of family entertainment centers. Employees benefit from comprehensive health care options, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement savings plan. Career development is a priority, with many managers promoted internally, and a focus on job training and growth opportunities. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds without discrimination based on protected characteristics.
