Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates some of the most iconic family entertainment brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. These brands are well-known for providing a unique and engaging environment where kids and families can come together to eat, play, and create joyful memories. Chuck E. Cheese, in particular, celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is committed to being a place 'Where a Kid Can Be a Kid.' The company places a strong emphasis on safety, supported by initiatives such as Kid Check and significant contributions to schools and nonprofits, having donated more than $24 million. Their commitment to innovation and employee well-being has earned them accolades including the “Best in STEM” award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
CEC Entertainment offers a dynamic work environment that is perfect for first-time job seekers as well as those looking to build exciting careers in the hospitality and entertainment sectors. Their culture is built around great food, family, and fun, positioning themselves as a company dedicated to providing the best experience for kids and families alike. For employees, especially those in front-line roles like cast members, the company offers opportunities for cross-training which equips them with skills across various positions, fostering growth and promotion from within—over 60% of their management team began as cast members. A unique benefit of working at Chuck E. Cheese is the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, enabling employees to access their earned wages almost immediately, rather than waiting for scheduled paychecks.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions. These roles are essential in helping the brand deliver on its promise by preparing orders and assisting with straightforward food preparation tasks in a no-fry kitchen environment. The menu includes pizza, salads, and wings, making the preparation process easier while maintaining quality and taste. These positions are vital to the food service operations within the venues and require candidates who are energetic, enthusiastic, and skilled in customer service. Employees in these roles must be capable of physical tasks such as lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, reaching, and moving throughout their shifts in an environment with flashing lights and loud noises.
CEC Entertainment is committed to creating an inclusive, diverse workplace that reflects the diverse communities they serve. As an equal opportunity employer, they do not discriminate based on race, gender, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class. The company supports professional growth and offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plans, employee meal discounts, tuition assistance, and other financial support resources.
This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, family-friendly setting and want to be part of a company where they can grow their career while contributing to memorable experiences for guests. The part-time and full-time benefits differ, with full-time employees eligible for comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick and vacation time, and other advantages, while part-time staff have access to specific voluntary benefits. The company's rigorous health and sanitation standards ensure the safety of both employees and guests, adapting their operational procedures to meet or exceed local requirements. Overall, working at CEC Entertainment offers a rewarding pathway for those passionate about service, food preparation, and creating fun for families and children.
