Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade, bringing fun and joy to families and children across 45 states and 18 countries. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues, CEC Entertainment is committed to creating lasting memories through exciting food, games, and play experiences. Their flagship brand, Chuck E. Cheese, celebrates more than half a million birthdays annually, positioning itself as the premier destination "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®." The company emphasizes safety through initiatives like the Kid Check® program and demonstrates a strong commitment to community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The dedication to innovation and employee well-being was recognized in 2025 when Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.
Peter Piper Pizza enhances neighborhood dining with quality food and engaging entertainment. Their motto, "The Fun is Baked In," captures the family and community focus, promoting physical wellness and motor skill development in children through varied attractions. CEC Entertainment embraces diversity and inclusion, aiming to mirror the backgrounds and perspectives of the many guests they serve. The company fosters a culture where fun and play unite families and communities alike.
The role of Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is instrumental in delivering the brand’s promise of fun and great food. As part of a no-fry kitchen, these positions focus on easy prep methods for pizzas, salads, and wings, ensuring quality meals that support the overall guest experience. The company provides a dynamic work environment where employees, known as Cast Members, are empowered through cross-training in various positions, fostering growth and the opportunity to build rewarding careers. Over 60% of management team members started as Cast Members, highlighting the potential for internal advancement.
This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $13.77 to $14.77, with an appealing commission structure for both exempt and non-exempt employees based on Membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. Employees also benefit from CEC Entertainment's innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows access to earned wages without waiting for traditional paydays.
Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker team members are expected to assist with preparing orders efficiently while maintaining health and sanitation standards that exceed local requirements. The role involves physical tasks such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds and standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching during shifts. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and noise, making the ability to manage job stress and collaborate effectively with team members essential.
CEC Entertainment values safety and health for both guests and employees and creates a supportive environment where reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan for eligible U.S. employees. Training and professional development opportunities are also available, supporting career growth within the organization.
As an Equal Opportunity Employer, CEC Entertainment prides itself on promoting diversity and nondiscrimination across all hiring practices, welcoming applicants irrespective of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, or other protected status. The company’s inclusive culture and dedication to employee success make it a great place for first-time job seekers and seasoned professionals alike to thrive and contribute to a fun-filled family entertainment experience.
