Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating memorable family experiences centered around great food, engaging entertainment, and fun. Chuck E. Cheese, known as the place Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®, celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and promotes safety through programs like Kid Check® while supporting communities with donations exceeding $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, the company was honored with the "Best in STEM" award and recognized as one of America's Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.

CEC Entertainment fosters a vibrant, inclusive culture that celebrates diversity and champions the power of play to bring families and communities together. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience where fun is "baked in," combining quality food with family-friendly entertainment that supports kids' physical wellness and motor skill development. Both brands contribute to a welcoming environment where employees can build rewarding careers while delivering outstanding customer service.

The role of Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is a dynamic and essential position within this family-focused company. This position involves preparing orders, assisting with food prep, and working in a clean, no-fry kitchen environment. Employees in this role will handle easy prep tasks including making pizzas, salads, and wings. The company emphasizes a positive, energetic work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and cross-training in various stations, empowering Cast Members to provide exceptional service. This role offers a great opportunity for first-time job seekers as well as individuals looking to develop a long-term career in the food service and entertainment industry, with over 60 percent of managers promoted from within.

Chuck E. Cheese also offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows employees to access earned wages without waiting for traditional pay cycles. Compensation for this hourly role ranges from $16.90 to $17.90 per hour, coupled with exciting commission opportunities depending on the position. For exempt employees, commissions range from $0.50 to $10 per Membership sold and from $0.15 to $3 per Fun Pass sold. Non-exempt employees can earn commissions from $2 to $8 for each Membership and $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass, with bi-weekly payouts following state laws.

Employees must be at least 16 years of age (subject to local or state restrictions), possess excellent customer service skills, and bring an energetic and enthusiastic personality. The position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts, within a work environment that includes flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. The company prioritizes safety and health by maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards that meet or exceed local requirements.

CEC Entertainment is committed to providing comprehensive benefits tailored to support employees nationwide. All employees enjoy access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees working 29.5 hours or more per week are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life and disability insurance, legal coverage, voluntary benefits, and additional education and student loan support. The company also complies with applicable state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and other benefits.

CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to creating a workforce that reflects the diversity of the guests it serves. The company does not discriminate based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other federally, state, or locally protected class. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a passionate team that values fun, family, and food while building a career in a supportive, inclusive environment where employees can grow and succeed.
