Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories for families through fun, food, and play. The company celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is committed to safety with programs like Kid Check, alongside community support initiatives, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The organization received the prestigious "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and was recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its commitment to innovation and employee well-being.
Chuck E. Cheese offers a fun and safe environment where children and families can enjoy food and games. The brand's approach is centered on fostering physical wellness and strengthening motor skills in kids through various attractions and activities. Similarly, Peter Piper Pizza provides a neighborhood pizzeria experience with quality food and engaging entertainment designed to create lifelong memories. The company embraces diversity and inclusion, aiming to reflect the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of its guests in its workforce. CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, and other protected classes.
The role available is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers who play a vital part in helping feed the fun at Chuck E. Cheese. This position involves preparing food orders such as pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. Cast Members are empowered through cross-training in various positions to deliver exceptional service and grow their careers. Over 60% of managers at CEC Entertainment have been promoted from within, demonstrating the company’s commitment to internal career development.
Employees in this role benefit from the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, providing access to earned wages daily rather than waiting for traditional paychecks. This supportive pay structure is complemented by a competitive benefits package designed to assist employees nationwide. Benefits include access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources.
Part-time employees can enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees working an average of 29.5 hours or more per week are eligible for more comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support. The company also complies with state and local laws regarding paid sick leave and other benefits.
The work environment includes physical activity such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds and tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The job involves exposure to flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. Adaptations can be made to accommodate individuals with disabilities to enable them to perform essential job functions safely and effectively.
CEC Entertainment encourages enthusiasm, excellent customer service skills, and an energetic personality among its Cast Members. Minimum qualifications include being at least 16 years old, availability to work various shifts, and a passion for providing great service with a friendly demeanor. This position offers a dynamic and supportive workplace that values career growth, learning opportunities, and a positive, inclusive culture where children and families can enjoy memorable experiences.
