Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. As a beloved name in the industry, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, providing a safe and engaging environment where kids can truly be kids. The company also stands out for its commitment to safety through initiatives like Kid Check®, and its strong community support, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, the company was recognized with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, underscoring its dedication to both innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements the entertainment experience by offering a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere, quality food, and engaging entertainment that fosters lifelong memories. Both brands emphasize the importance of play in childhood development by offering attractions that promote physical wellness and enhance motor skills. Together, CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, making it a significant player in family entertainment worldwide. The company cultivates a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun that unites families and communities through meaningful experiences.
The role now open at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers. This position is ideal for those looking to join a dynamic, family-friendly workplace that values great service and teamwork. The job focuses on preparing orders and assisting with food prep in a no-fry kitchen environment specializing in pizza, salads, and wings. The company offers an exceptional pay structure including commission potential on sales of memberships and fun passes, with payment distributed bi-weekly. Additionally, employees gain access to the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, offering earned wage access so there’s no need to wait between paychecks.
This opportunity is perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career within CEC Entertainment. Cast Members benefit from cross-training in various roles, allowing them to develop diverse skills and advance within the company — more than 60% of managers are promoted from within. The work environment promotes energy, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills. Employees must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, and walking throughout their shifts. The environment includes flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, and employees are expected to manage these conditions effectively while interacting positively with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment also takes the health and safety of its employees seriously, maintaining rigorous sanitation standards designed to protect all team members and guests. Reasonable accommodations are provided to ensure individuals with disabilities can perform their essential duties effectively.
Equally important, CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package tailored to meet the needs of its diverse workforce. All employees access telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees can opt into fixed indemnity medical plans, dental and vision coverage, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees, working an average of 29.5 or more hours weekly, are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Account (HSA) options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan assistance.
CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce. It does not discriminate based on any protected class, including race, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, age, and veteran status. As a workplace, the company values the unique backgrounds and perspectives that every team member brings, enriching the overall culture and the experience it offers to customers. Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a vibrant community that values fun, growth, safety, and excellence.
