CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories for families through a combination of quality food, engaging entertainment, and safe, family-friendly environments. Their flagship brand, Chuck E. Cheese, celebrates over half a million birthdays annually and is known as "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid®" with a strong commitment to safety programs like Kid Check® and extensive community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The company was recognized in 2025 with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, reflecting their leadership in innovation and employee well-being.

As a company, CEC Entertainment firmly believes in fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun, aiming to unite families and communities through play. Their brands emphasize physical wellness and skill development in children by integrating play into their business model. Both Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza are committed to quality food and memorable experiences combining amusement, connection, and family togetherness.

The position available is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles within their no-fry kitchen setting. These roles focus on preparing orders and assisting with food preparation—primarily making pizza, salads, and wings. It is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career in the food service and entertainment industry. Employees at CEC are cross-trained across various positions to provide the greatest service possible, and over 60% of managers are promoted from within, emphasizing internal career growth.

The hourly wage for these roles ranges from $17.90 to $18.90. Employees also have access to commissions based on membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. Exempt employees can earn commissions from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold; non-exempt employees have commission potentials from $2.00 to $8.00 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass. Additionally, CEC offers a revolutionary "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages without waiting for their scheduled paycheck, contributing to financial flexibility and security.

Employees in this role must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and walking during shifts in a lively environment with flashing lights, machinery noise, and a fast pace. The work atmosphere encourages collaboration and effective communication with both guests and team members. CEC places high importance on health and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for employees and guests alike.

CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support its employees nationwide. All employees receive access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, generous employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees can enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental, vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees averaging 29.5+ hours weekly are eligible for more extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation days, paid holidays, flexible spending accounts (FSA/HSA), life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional educational support. The company fully complies with state and local laws, including paid sick leave and other mandated benefits.

CEC Entertainment is committed to equal employment opportunities and ensures that its hiring practices are inclusive, considering applicants with diverse backgrounds, including those with arrest and conviction records as permitted by law. Reasonable accommodations are provided for individuals with disabilities to successfully perform job functions. Overall, CEC Entertainment offers an enriching and supportive workplace where candidates can grow their careers in a dynamic environment fueled by food, family, and fun.
