CEC Entertainment fosters a culture rich in diversity and inclusion and champions the importance of play and family connection. The company empowers its employees through comprehensive training and career growth opportunities, with over 60% of managers being promoted from within. Chuck E. Cheese offers a dynamic and welcoming environment for first-time job seekers as well as career-builders with a variety of positions including food prep, cook, and pizza makers. The company's "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows employees to access earned wages instantly, eliminating the wait between paychecks. This role is essential in helping feed the fun by preparing orders in a no-fry kitchen environment, focusing on easy prep items like pizza, salads, and wings.
The position offers hourly pay starting from $16.90 up to $17.90, with commission potential based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes. Commissions for exempt employees range from $0.50 to $10.00 per membership and $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass, whereas non-exempt employees have commission opportunities ranging from $2.00 to $8.00 for memberships and $0.60 to $2.40 for Fun Passes. This role requires an energetic and enthusiastic personality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work various shifts. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and being able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk, and squat during shifts. The work environment includes flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, which are integral to the dynamic experience at Chuck E. Cheese.
CEC Entertainment provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees nationwide. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, employee meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in fixed indemnity medical coverage, dental and vision options, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits. Full-time employees, averaging over 29.5 hours per week, are eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.
CEC Entertainment upholds state and local compliance, including paid sick leave as mandated by law. The company also values fairness and inclusivity by considering qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with applicable fairness acts and ordinances. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Emphasizing the safety and health of guests and employees, Chuck E. Cheese maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards that meet or exceed local requirements. This commitment ensures a safe, enjoyable environment for the entire team and guests.
