The company is committed to safety, community support, and innovation, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits and receiving numerous awards including the "Best in STEM" and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces.
Chuck E. Peter Piper Pizza shines as a neighborhood pizzeria with quality food and entertainment, emphasizing that "The Fun is Baked In" as it brings families and communities together. Now hiring for Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker positions, CEC Entertainment offers an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking first-time jobs or those looking to grow their careers in a vibrant, supportive environment. The roles focus on food preparation and maintaining a clean, no-fry kitchen that serves pizza, salads, and wings. Cast Members are empowered through cross-training to provide exceptional service, with over 60% of managers having been promoted from within the company. An engaging and energetic personality is key, along with excellent customer service skills and flexibility to work various shifts.
Employees benefit from CEC's groundbreaking "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing access to earned wages immediately rather than waiting for the bi-weekly paycheck. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 hourly, with additional commission potential based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes. The position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The work environment includes buzzing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, necessitating an individual who can handle job stress and remain effective in interactions with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment provides a competitive benefits package, including telemedicine, 401(k) retirement plans, meal discounts, employee assistance programs, tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources accessible to all employees. Part-time staff have options for medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability plans, while full-time employees enjoy comprehensive coverage plus paid holidays and vacation time. The company adheres strictly to state and local compliance regulations, including paid sick leave where applicable. CEC's commitment to a healthy, inclusive workplace aligns with its mission to foster a safe and enjoyable experience for its guests and team members alike.
