Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in the family dining and entertainment industry. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. Established as a place where kids and families can come together to eat, play, and create joyful memories, CEC Entertainment celebrates over half a million birthdays annually. With a commitment to safety, quality, and fun, the company has implemented innovative programs like Kid Check to ensure a secure environment for guests and employees alike. Through community support initiatives, CEC has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits, reinforcing its dedication to giving back and fostering strong community ties.

Chuck E. Cheese stands as a pioneer in combining food with family entertainment, creating an environment where a kid can be a kid. The company has been recognized for its innovation and workplace culture, receiving the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and being named among America’s Greatest Workplaces. Peter Piper Pizza complements this vision by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience infused with quality food, engaging entertainment, and a focus on physical wellness through various attractions that also enhance motor skills in children. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment fosters a vibrant culture of diversity, inclusion, and fun.

The role available is essential in maintaining the high standards CEC Entertainment sets for its food service and family-friendly atmosphere. The company is currently hiring Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions, which are vital in supporting the daily operations of the kitchen. These positions play a key role in food preparation and order fulfillment in a no-fry kitchen environment that emphasizes easy prep meals such as pizza, salads, and wings. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a career within this dynamic entertainment and dining company, as CEC empowers its Cast Members through cross-training in various job functions, promoting growth and internal advancement for over 60% of managers.

Compensation for these roles ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with additional commission opportunities based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes, creating an opportunity for employees to increase their earnings. Notably, the company offers a unique “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program that allows employees to access earned wages daily, alleviating the wait between paychecks and providing financial flexibility.

Working in this role involves physical activity, such as lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and walking throughout shifts. The environment includes elements like flashing lights, moving parts, and loud noises, requiring employees to maintain energy and enthusiasm while interacting effectively with guests and coworkers. The company places great emphasis on health and sanitation, ensuring operational procedures meet or exceed local regulations to protect the wellbeing of all staff and patrons.

CEC Entertainment also offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees at different employment levels. All employees have access to telemedicine, early wage access, a 401(k) retirement plan, meal discounts, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), tuition savings, scholarships, and financial relief resources. Part-time employees may enroll in medical coverage, dental and vision plans, and voluntary life and short-term disability benefits, while full-time employees enjoy even broader medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid sick and vacation time, paid holidays where applicable, FSA/HSA options, life and disability insurance, legal coverage, and additional education and student loan support.

CEC Entertainment is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to reflecting the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives of the communities it serves. It ensures a discrimination-free workplace regardless of race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status.
