As a nationally recognized leader in its industry, CEC Entertainment serves a vital role in communities by creating lively venues where families and kids can gather to enjoy great food and engaging entertainment. The company prides itself on providing a safe, entertaining environment while fostering joyful, lasting memories through its commitment to play, quality food, and family fun. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has made a notable impact by celebrating over half a million birthdays annually. This is a testament to its widespread appeal and dedication to delivering an exceptional guest experience. Beyond entertainment, CEC also emphasizes community support through programs like Kid Check® to ensure safety and has contributed more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits, illustrating its commitment to giving back. The company was recognized in 2025 for its industry leadership by winning the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its strong focus on innovation and employee well-being.
The role available at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers who will play a critical part in helping to "feed the fun" by preparing orders and assisting with kitchen duties in a no-fry kitchen environment. This position involves preparing pizzas, salads, and wings, with an emphasis on easy-to-prepare menu items that align with the company's standards for quality and safety. These roles are ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career in hospitality and food services. The company offers a very appealing "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that gives employees access to earned wages quickly, enhancing employee satisfaction and financial well-being.
Candidates must be at least 16 years old (except where restricted by law), enthusiastic, energetic, and available to work various shifts. Physical ability to handle common kitchen demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds and enduring a physically active workday, is essential. The job environment features elements such as flashing lights and loud noises, requiring employees to be adaptable and resilient. CEC Entertainment fosters a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming culture where employees are valued and given opportunities for growth. Over 60% of their managers are promoted from within, proving a strong culture of career development and internal advancement.
The compensation for this role ranges from $20.82 to $21.82 hourly, with attractive commission potentials for membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. CEC Entertainment offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, paid holidays, vacation, employee meal discounts, and many voluntary benefits such as accident and critical illness insurance. Full-time, part-time, and managerial employees have tailored benefits that ensure support for a broad range of needs and lifestyles. The company likewise adheres to rigorous health and sanitation policies to protect the safety of all team members and guests.
Candidates seeking a dynamic, people-focused work environment where fun and food intersect will find CEC Entertainment an excellent place to grow their careers. The company’s commitment to employee well-being, opportunity, and community engagement makes it much more than a job; it is a chance to be part of a recognized industry leader uniting families through play and celebration.
