Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, known for operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With a commitment to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play, CEC Entertainment serves families and communities across the United States and internationally. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, making it a dominant player in the casual family entertainment and dining sector. The Chuck E. Cheese brand is especially beloved for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, offering a unique entertainment experience where kids can be kids. The brand emphasizes safety through initiatives like the Kid Check® program and is involved in community support, donating more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces and awarded "Best in STEM" in 2025, CEC Entertainment champions innovation and employee well-being.

The company is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions. These roles are vital to delivering the high-quality food and service that guests expect at Chuck E. Cheese. The kitchen environment is a no-fry kitchen focusing on easy preparation of pizzas, salads, and wings. Food Prep and Pizza Makers help feed the fun by preparing orders and assisting with food prep, ensuring guests receive fresh and delicious meals to complement their entertainment experience. This is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career in the family entertainment and dining industry. Cast Members are empowered through cross-training in various positions, fostering professional growth, with more than 60% of management promoted from within.

Compensation for these roles starts at $16.90 to $17.90 hourly, alongside commission potential based on sales of memberships and Fun Passes. The company offers a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees to access earned wages without waiting for traditional paychecks. Additional benefits include competitive pay, a 50% discount on meals during shifts, flexible scheduling, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, an employee referral program, and a CEC Cares Fund to assist employees during emergencies or catastrophes.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old (where legally permitted), possess excellent customer service skills, and have an energetic and enthusiastic personality. The role requires physical capabilities such as the ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and engage in activities involving standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during scheduled shifts. Employees also need to manage job stress effectively and interact positively with guests and coworkers. The work environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, so adaptability and a positive attitude are essential.

CEC Entertainment is committed to diversity and inclusion, fostering a culture that reflects the backgrounds and perspectives of the guests served. The company follows equal opportunity policies and makes reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Health and safety are paramount, with rigorous sanitation standards meeting or exceeding local requirements to protect the well-being of employees and guests alike.

This role offers an excellent pathway for those passionate about working in a family-friendly environment focused on fun, food, and play. With opportunities for career advancement, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive team, working at Chuck E.
