Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC ("CEC"), headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. Known for creating memorable experiences for kids and families, CEC Entertainment celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, making it a destination where kids can be themselves and families can bond over laughter, food, and play. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spanning 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment fosters a vibrant culture of diversity and inclusion, emphasizing fun and play to unite families and communities.
Chuck E. Cheese is committed to safety and fun, implementing programs like Kid Check® to protect children and supporting community initiatives with more than $24 million donated to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, the company earned the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, further highlighting its dedication to innovation and employee well-being. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by providing a neighborhood pizzeria experience centered on quality food and engaging entertainment, where the fun truly is baked in.
Now hiring Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers, CEC Entertainment invites enthusiastic individuals to join their kitchen team, who will help feed the fun by preparing a variety of orders including pizza, salads, and wings, in an easy, no-fry kitchen environment. This role is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone looking to build an exciting career in the food and entertainment industry. Cast Members at CEC are empowered through comprehensive cross-training to provide exceptional service across multiple positions, with over 60% of managers having been promoted from within.
With competitive hourly wages ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 and the opportunity to earn commissions on memberships and Fun Pass sales, employees benefit from both financial and professional growth. The company uniquely offers the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, enabling employees to access earned wages without waiting for a traditional paycheck cycle. Flexible scheduling ensures work-life balance, while scholarships, employee referral programs, and the CEC Cares Fund provide additional support and rewards.
The role requires candidates to be at least 16 years old (subject to local restrictions) and equipped with energetic, enthusiastic personalities and excellent customer service skills. Essential job functions include the ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds and perform activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. The work environment includes flashing lights, loud noises, and moving mechanical parts, requiring employees to manage job stress and interact effectively with guests and coworkers.
CEC Entertainment values inclusion and equal opportunity, encouraging applicants from diverse backgrounds and experiences to apply, with compliance to relevant fair chance laws and reasonable accommodations for disabilities. The company’s overarching goal is to provide a safe, joyful workplace that reflects the families it serves. By joining CEC Entertainment, team members become part of a dynamic, supportive environment focused on career advancement, personal growth, and making a positive impact in their communities.
