Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. It proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. The company is committed to creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where families can enjoy great food and exciting play experiences together. Chuck E. Cheese, known as "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid," hosts over half a million birthdays annually and focuses on delivering joyful, lasting memories through a combination of food, play, and fun activities.
As a company, CEC Entertainment places a strong emphasis on safety, wellness, and community support. It has developed programs like Kid Check® to ensure children's safety and has donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. The company was awarded "Best in STEM" and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, demonstrating leadership in innovation and employee well-being. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience, emphasizing quality food and fun to create connections and support physical wellness for kids. CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion that celebrates fun and play.
The role of Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is an exciting opportunity to contribute to this vibrant family environment. This position involves preparing food orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen that specializes in pizza, salads, and wings. The role is perfect for those seeking a first job or a step toward a career within the company, as more than 60% of managers are promoted from within. This position is hourly paid, ranging from $11.00 to $15.13 per hour, with commission opportunities based on membership and Fun Pass sales.
Employees benefit from the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows access to earned wages without waiting for the standard paycheck cycle. The company offers generous perks such as flexible schedules, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, referral programs, and the CEC Cares Fund, which helps employees during hardships. The work environment demands physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds and continuous movement throughout the shift, in a setting with flashing lights, loud sounds, and moving parts. Safe and rigorous health and sanitation practices are also in place to protect both employees and guests.
In this role, Kitchen Prep and Pizza Makers help keep the fun going by ensuring food quality and timely service, supporting a positive and energetic atmosphere for guests. The company values energetic and enthusiastic personalities, excellent customer service skills, and that employees are available to work various shifts. This role is essential to maintaining the joyful experience that Chuck E. Cheese is famous for, making it an ideal position for those who thrive in a dynamic, family-friendly setting focused on fun and exceptional service.
