The Culinary Team at CEC Entertainment plays a vital role in bringing this vision to life, ensuring each guest experience is exceptional through quality food preparation and service. The company is currently hiring for Food Prep, Cooks, and Pizza Makers who will help feed the fun by preparing orders and assisting with various kitchen tasks. This role operates within a no-fry kitchen environment, focusing on the preparation of pizzas, salads, and wings with easy prep techniques designed to maintain high standards of food safety and taste. Cast Members in these roles are empowered through extensive cross-training opportunities, encouraging growth and versatility within different restaurant positions. Over 60 percent of managers are promoted from within, signaling strong career advancement potential.

The position offers competitive pay and a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing employees access to their earned wages without waiting for the standard payroll cycle. Additional benefits include a 50 percent meal discount during shifts, flexible scheduling to accommodate various lifestyles, scholarship opportunities, and participation in employee referral and CEC Cares Fund programs that assist employees during times of catastrophe. This role is ideal for those enthusiastic about customer service and passionate about creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere in a fast-paced entertainment and dining setting.

Candidates should be at least 16 years old (subject to local laws), possess excellent customer service skills, and maintain an energetic and enthusiastic personality. Essential physical requirements include the ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and to perform tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting. The work environment involves exposure to flashing and flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, necessitating a capacity to handle job stress and interact effectively with both guests and teammates.

CEC Entertainment champions a culture of diversity and inclusion, valuing the varied backgrounds and experiences that contribute to a vibrant workplace. Reasonable accommodations are available to ensure that all employees can perform essential functions safely and effectively.
