Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, operating iconic brands including Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a premier destination for families seeking fun, food, and memorable experiences. The company is deeply committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where children and families can enjoy play, entertainment, and quality dining. Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, focusing on joy and lasting memories. The brand is known for its rigorous safety programs such as Kid Check® and has contributed over $24 million to schools and nonprofits, reflecting its dedication to community support and development.
CEC Entertainment is proud to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion, ensuring that its workforce represents the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of the guests it serves. The company has been recognized for its excellence, receiving awards like the “Best in STEM” and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, showcasing its leadership in both innovation and employee well-being.
Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring for positions such as Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers at Chuck E. Cheese. These roles are crucial in maintaining the company’s reputation for providing great food in a vibrant, family-friendly setting. The kitchen operates as a no-fry environment where team members prepare pizzas, salads, and wings with ease. These positions are ideal for those looking to start their careers or build long-term growth within the company, as over 60% of management positions are filled by internal promotions. The roles offer competitive pay between $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with commission opportunities based on memberships and fun pass sales, making this an attractive option for motivated individuals.
The company offers a unique “Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow” program that allows employees to access earned wages daily rather than waiting for the traditional bi-weekly paycheck. This program enhances financial flexibility and supports employees' needs. In addition to financial incentives, CEC Entertainment provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for full-time employees, along with 401(k) retirement savings plans. Part-time employees also have access to various voluntary health insurance options, meal discounts, and employee assistance programs.
Additionally, CEC Entertainment emphasizes flexible schedules, scholarships, referral programs, and assistance funds through the CEC Cares Fund to help employees during catastrophes. This supportive environment ensures that employees not only grow professionally but also have access to resources that promote personal well-being. The work environment does demand some physical activity, requiring employees to lift or carry objects up to 50 pounds and engage in movements such as standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting during shifts. However, this creates an active and engaging workplace for those who enjoy dynamic roles.
Overall, joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a company that values career growth, safety, inclusivity, and the fun of creating memorable experiences for families. The company’s mission of being the best place for kids and families to eat and play is supported by dedicated employees who are empowered to deliver exceptional service. If you are energetic, enthusiastic, enjoy working in a lively atmosphere, and have excellent customer service skills, this opportunity as a Food Prep, Cook, or Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is the perfect fit for you.
