Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues spread across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is a major player in celebrating and enhancing family experiences. The company is committed to creating joyous, memorable moments—hosting over half a million birthdays annually—and fostering community engagement by donating millions of dollars to schools and nonprofits. Its dedication to innovation and excellence in employee well-being has earned it accolades such as the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.
Chuck E. Cheese, a flagship concept of CEC Entertainment, is known for being a fun and safe place where children can enjoy food, play, and entertainment. The company emphasizes its core values centered around family, great food, and fun, aiming to make every visit a rewarding experience for kids and families alike. Their inclusive culture champions diversity and fosters a workplace where everyone can thrive, reflected in their ongoing commitment to equitable employment practices and community support programs like Kid Check®.
The role of Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker at Chuck E. Cheese is a vital position designed to help prepare delicious food items in a supportive, no-fry kitchen environment. Team members in this role assist with preparing pizzas, salads, and wings, ensuring consistent quality and timeliness of food orders. This position is ideal for individuals seeking an entry-level opportunity or those aspiring to build an exciting career in the food service and family entertainment industry. The company offers competitive pay ranging from $17.87 to $18.87 per hour, with additional commission potential for selling memberships and fun passes. An innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows employees to access earned wages without delay, enhancing financial flexibility.
Beyond food preparation, employees benefit from flexible scheduling, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, and participation in employee referral initiatives. There is also support through the CEC Cares Fund, which assists employees during catastrophic events. The physical demands of the role include the ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 50 pounds and perform duties requiring standing, bending, kneeling, and walking in a dynamic, sometimes noisy, environment. Being enthusiastic, energetic, and possessing excellent customer service skills are essential to be successful in this position.
CEC Entertainment is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds, and providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The company ensures safe and sanitary conditions, aligned with local requirements, to protect the health and well-being of its team members and guests. This opportunity at Chuck E. Cheese provides a gateway to a fulfilling career path with room for advancement, as more than 60% of their managers have been promoted from within the company. Working here not only means being part of a fun and family-friendly environment but also joining a company that values growth, safety, and community impact.
