Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment is dedicated to creating joyful and lasting memories for families through fun, food, and play. The company emphasizes safety and community involvement, implementing initiatives such as the Kid Check program and donating over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Known for being a top workplace, CEC continues to lead innovation and employee well-being, earning accolades like the "Best in STEM" award and recognition as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025.

CEC Entertainment builds careers around the values of great food, family, and fun. The company’s role centers on creating the best environment for kids and families to eat and play, supporting a dynamic and energetic workforce. Their commitment to service excellence is evident in the empowerment of their Cast Members, who are cross-trained across various positions to provide outstanding guest experiences. More than 60% of the management team was promoted from within, highlighting the potential for career growth and development.

Currently, CEC Entertainment is hiring food prep, cook, and pizza maker positions in their no-fry kitchens. These team members play a crucial role in feeding the fun by preparing orders and assisting with various kitchen tasks, focusing on pizzas, salads, and wings. The role is well-suited for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career in the hospitality and entertainment industry.

This position offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.90 to $17.90 per hour with attractive commission potentials. Commissions vary based on the position, with hourly non-exempt employees earning from $2.00 to $8.00 for each membership sold, plus additional commissions on Fun Pass sales. Exempt employees have different commission scales. Notably, CEC is proud to offer the "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which allows employees to access earned wages immediately rather than waiting for the regular payday, demonstrating the company’s commitment to employee financial well-being.

Candidates must be at least 16 years old (subject to local regulations), possess excellent customer service skills, and bring an energetic and enthusiastic personality to keep the family-friendly environment vibrant and welcoming. The job entails physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, walking, and squatting, set in an environment featuring flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and some noise.

CEC Entertainment fosters a supportive, inclusive work culture with a strong emphasis on diversity, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities. The company values a workforce reflective of the diverse backgrounds of its guests and prohibits discrimination on any protected basis.

In addition to pay and commissions, employees enjoy a variety of benefits including flexible schedules, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, perks and discounts programs, and an employee referral program. The CEC Cares Fund supports employees during personal catastrophes, and the company upholds rigorous health and sanitation standards in all locations to safeguard the well-being of guests and staff. Overall, CEC Entertainment offers not just a job but a vibrant, career-building experience within a family-focused environment that celebrates fun, growth, and community.
