Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, proudly operating iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade. With a rich history of creating joyful and lasting memories, Chuck E. Cheese hosts over half a million birthdays annually and is known as the place "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid". The company is dedicated to maintaining a safe, fun, and inclusive environment through initiatives like the Kid Check program and community support, having donated over $24 million to schools and nonprofits. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese received the "Best in STEM" award and was named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its leadership in innovation and employee well-being. Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering neighborhood pizzeria experiences filled with quality food, engaging entertainment, and lifelong memories. Through fun and connection, both brands foster physical wellness and enhance motor skills in kids while bringing families and communities together.
CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries. The company embraces a culture of diversity and inclusion, celebrating fun and play to unite families everywhere. Chuck E. Cheese offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and a 401(k) retirement savings plan for eligible U.S. employees, alongside opportunities for job training and career growth. The company’s innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program allows employees to access earned wages without waiting for the next paycheck, reflecting its commitment to employee financial well-being.
The Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker roles at Chuck E. Cheese are vital to delivering the company’s promise of great food, family fun, and memorable experiences. These positions involve preparing various menu items such as pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. Employees in these roles assist with order preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure food quality and safety standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for first-time job seekers or those looking to build a rewarding career, as over 60% of Chuck E. Cheese managers have been promoted from within. Cast Members are cross-trained in multiple positions to provide the greatest service anywhere in the store, fostering professional development and teamwork. The positions offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and additional perks like a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarships, referral bonuses, and access to the CEC Cares Fund for employee assistance during catastrophes.
Working in these roles demands the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, walk, and squat throughout shifts. The kitchen environment includes exposure to flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises, requiring employees to manage job stress effectively while maintaining excellent customer service and a positive, energetic attitude. Chuck E. Cheese is committed to providing reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions, reinforcing its inclusive workplace values.
