Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, offering fun-filled environments where kids and families can enjoy great food and play together. Chuck E. Cheese celebrates over half a million birthdays annually, with a strong commitment to creating joyful and lasting memories through entertainment and quality food. Their flagship brand is dedicated to being "Where a Kid Can Be a Kid," emphasizing safety with programs like Kid Check and community support by donating more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits. Recent accolades include the "Best in STEM" award in 2025 and recognition as one of America's Greatest Workplaces, reflecting CEC's leadership in innovation and employee well-being.
Peter Piper Pizza complements this mission by offering a neighborhood pizzeria experience replete with quality food, engaging entertainment, and memorable moments that emphasize that "The Fun is Baked In." Serving families and communities every day, both brands support physical wellness and motor skills development for kids through interactive play and attractions. Across more than 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment and its franchisees operate nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues, building a diverse and inclusive culture that celebrates fun and brings families together.
The current role at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers within their kitchens. This position is vital in helping "feed the fun" by preparing orders and assisting with food prep, primarily focusing on pizza, salads, and wings in a no-fry kitchen environment. This entry-level position offers great opportunities for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career within the company. Cast Members are cross-trained in various roles to provide exceptional service, with over 60% of managers promoted from within. This job promotes a dynamic, fun, and customer-focused environment where energetic and enthusiastic individuals can thrive.
Compensation for this position ranges from $19.70 to $20.70 hourly, with commission potential based on Membership and Fun Pass sales. Non-exempt employees can earn commission from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership sold and from $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, paid bi-weekly. Exempt employees have different commission scales. Employees also benefit from a unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, enabling access to earned wages without waiting between paychecks.
Additional benefits include a 50% discount on meals while on shift, flexible scheduling, scholarship options, employee referrals, and the CEC Cares Fund, which supports employees during catastrophes. The work environment requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in physical activities like standing, bending, and walking during shifts. Safety and health are paramount at CEC, with rigorous sanitation standards and operational procedures designed to protect both team members and guests.
CEC Entertainment values diversity and inclusion, firmly committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected statuses. The company adheres to fair chance hiring practices per local and state regulations, ensuring an inclusive and supportive workplace. For those passionate about delivering excellent customer service in a lively and family-friendly setting, this role offers a meaningful and rewarding career path at a respected industry leader.
