Job Description

CEC Entertainment, LLC is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment, headquartered in Irving, Texas. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck’s Arcade, delivering fun, food, and play experiences that bring families together. Known for celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, Chuck E. Cheese has created a unique place where children can be kids, combining engaging entertainment with quality dining in a safe and enjoyable environment. The company’s dedication to safety is demonstrated through initiatives like Kid Check®, and they have generously donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits across the country. Chuck E. Cheese has been recognized for its innovative approach, earning the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, underscoring their commitment to both employee well-being and excellence in their industry.

Peter Piper Pizza complements the Chuck E. Cheese experience by offering a neighborhood pizzeria atmosphere where quality food and fun go hand in hand. Through engaging entertainment options and an emphasis on community and family connection, both brands prioritize physical wellness and skill development in children in playful, supportive environments. Across 45 states and 18 countries, nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and more than 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues operate, reflecting the company’s expansive reach and commitment to bringing joy and lasting memories to diverse families worldwide. CEC Entertainment fosters a culture that values diversity, inclusion, and a spirit of fun that unites every family.

The Kitchen Prep and Pizza Maker positions at Chuck E. Cheese are essential roles that help “feed the fun” by preparing food orders and assisting with kitchen duties. This role is often ideal for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. The kitchen is a no-fry setting where employees focus on preparing pizzas, salads, and wings, maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The company offers a unique pay structure with commission potential varying by position, and a bi-weekly payout schedule, providing employees with competitive earnings. The "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program is a notable benefit, allowing employees to access earned wages without waiting for traditional pay periods.

Chuck E. Cheese values flexibility and employee growth, offering schedules that accommodate varied needs along with scholarships and a range of perks, including a generous meal discount during shifts and access to an employee referral program and CEC Cares Fund, which supports employees during emergencies. The company emphasizes a supportive work environment that encourages career advancement – more than 60% of managers are promoted from within, reflecting strong internal growth opportunities. Essential job functions require the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and handle physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and walking, all while maintaining energy and enthusiasm. The environment includes some exposure to flashing lights and loud noises typical of a lively family entertainment venue, but reasonable accommodations are available to help individuals with disabilities perform essential job functions.

CEC Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, encouraging applicants from all backgrounds and perspectives to join their team. They pride themselves on creating a workplace that not only prioritizes fun and customer service but also ensures health and safety standards are rigorously maintained to protect employees and guests alike.
