Celebrating over half a million birthdays annually, the company is committed to creating joyful experiences by blending fun, food, and play seamlessly. CEC Entertainment has a strong sense of community responsibility, having donated more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits, and implements safety programs like Kid Check to ensure a secure environment for all guests. The company operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture of diversity and inclusion that reflects the many backgrounds and perspectives of their guests.

The role currently open at CEC Entertainment is for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Makers within the company’s no-fry kitchen. This opportunity is ideal for first-time job seekers or anyone interested in building an exciting career in the food and entertainment industry. The position involves preparing orders and assisting with food prep focusing on pizzas, salads, and wings without dealing with frying processes, making it safer and easier for kitchen staff. Cast Members at CEC Entertainment are empowered through cross-training in various positions to deliver excellent service and support the fun-filled atmosphere that defines the company brand. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and consistency of the food that enhances the overall guest experience.

The employment type is hourly with competitive pay ranging from $15.16 to $16.16 per hour, along with commission potential for selling memberships and Fun Passes. Exempt employees may earn commissions between $0.50 to $10 per membership and $0.15 to $3 per Fun Pass, while non-exempt employees can earn $2 to $8 per membership and $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass, paid out bi-weekly unless state laws specify otherwise. A special program called "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" allows employees to access their earned wages without waiting for the regular payday, enhancing financial flexibility. This role also offers flexible schedules, a 50% meal discount during shifts, scholarship opportunities, perks and discounts, and participation in an employee referral program and support fund for times of need. The work environment involves physical activity such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, kneeling, and walking, and requires the ability to handle job stress and interact positively with guests and coworkers, all within an environment that includes flashing lights, mechanical parts, and some noise. CEC Entertainment takes pride in maintaining rigorous health and sanitation standards to protect both employees and guests.

CEC Entertainment is committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered. The company is an Equal Opportunity Employer that prohibits discrimination based on race, color, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, and other protected classes.
