Job Description
CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates iconic brands such as Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade. Known for creating joyful, lasting memories for families, CEC Entertainment has established itself as a premier destination where kids and families can eat, play, and celebrate together. Each year, Chuck E. Cheese alone celebrates over half a million birthdays, emphasizing its commitment to fun, food, and a safe environment. The brand is dedicated to providing a secure and enjoyable experience through safety programs like Kid Check and has contributed more than $24 million to schools and nonprofits nationwide. This commitment to community and innovation led to Chuck E. Cheese receiving the "Best in STEM" award and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in 2025, underscoring its industry leadership in employee well-being and innovation.
CEC Entertainment operates nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, fun, and family. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience centered on quality food and engaging entertainment, bringing communities together with its motto "The Fun is Baked In." The company supports physical wellness and motor skills development in kids through various play attractions.
Now hiring for Food Prep, Cook, and Pizza Maker positions at Chuck E. Cheese, these roles are perfect for first-time job seekers or those looking to build an exciting career. The company empowers its Cast Members through cross-training across multiple positions, encouraging internal promotion—over 60% of managers began as hourly employees. The kitchen roles focus on preparing orders and assisting with food preparation in a no-fry kitchen environment, specializing in pizza, salads, and wings with easy preparation methods.
Employees benefit from CEC’s innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, allowing them to access earned wages immediately rather than waiting for the next paycheck. Compensation varies between exempt and non-exempt employees, with commissions available for membership and Fun Pass sales, paid bi-weekly. Alongside competitive pay, employees enjoy a 50% meal discount during shifts, flexible schedules, scholarships, employee referral programs, perks, and discounts, and support through the CEC Cares Fund designed to assist during personal catastrophes.
At Chuck E. Cheese, team members work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment requiring the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, bending, kneeling, and walking throughout the shift. Staff are expected to have excellent customer service skills, bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, and thrive in a setting with flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, and loud noises. The company maintains rigorous health and sanitation standards exceeding local requirements to ensure the well-being of employees and guests. Reasonable accommodations are provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
CEC Entertainment embraces diversity and inclusion as core values and is committed to equal employment opportunities. The company prohibits discrimination based on race, ancestry, color, genetics, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws. By fostering a welcoming culture, CEC supports its mission to be a place where a kid can be a kid while building rewarding careers in the family entertainment industry.
